Hi Folks- I've been reading a lot on this site, and figured it was time I jumped in and said Hi. I retired about 7 yrs ago and to keep myself busy I thought I would try my hand at carving. I have always liked working with wood so I thought I would try it. Well, I gotta tell you I found my true passion. Nowdays, if my wife wants me, she knows right where I,ll be, out in my shop carving on something. It's now my full time JOB. You have a great community here and I'm glad I can be a part of it. I;ve got a few ouestions to ask and I know this is the place ask.

Jerdee,
Don't be afraid to ask questions on this site. We were all beginners at one time. There is a wealth of knowledge on this message board! Welcome!

Welcome aboard Jerdee. Nice to hear when someone else has been bitten by the carving bug! Thank goodness it's incurable!

Well, as long as he was bitten by the carving bug, rather than a carving tool.

Welcome from the Wet Coast!
