Cat Slave, Yep, the first and only try at chip carving. I'm going to try doing some wood spirits and see how that works out. Thanks for your comments.

Welcome to the forum there Chuck (from another Chuck - ChuckT). This forum is definitely the best resource for new (and returning) carvers I've ever seen. Glad you're here. Dive in and be prepared to be totally jazzed and inspired to get carvin.

That chip carved piece is really nicely done. Your first piece you say? Pretty awesome for a first piece. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
