Default new here and to carving
hello,

joined a few days ago and been having a good read.

completely new to carving, so not 100% sure what I really want to do yet, but I think relief stuff may be where I end up, with some small figures too perhaps.

while learning though I'll no doubt be up for trying a few different things to see what suits best, and that I'm best suited to. hopefully someday be up to the standard of a lot of the work I've seen here so far.
