| | New here But not to woodcarving, doing that for roughly 36 years, in varying degrees of seriousness. Lately I have had little time to carve, as I am finishing up my Master's degree. I do carve an ornament yearly for family and close friends. I have done that for over 10 years now. Currently I am a member of the board that just started a carving show in Canton, Ohio (our fisrt show was this year). Great attendance and interest in the 2008 show. You learn a lot putting on a show. Enough about me, I look forward to reading up on the fourm and participating as I can.

No, I do not have a site, and should have told everyone I am not real up on the techno stuff. I use a computer daily, but just use the programs that are there. If I can get a friend to help I will try to post some picks of my work, but don't hold your breath.

| | Re: New here Welcome Greg,
That's about the same story I had--except I carved quite a bit until I went back for my masters and went back to work full time...sure cuts into the whittling time.
Glad to see you posting here--it's a great place to visit about carving and learn from others.
