Default new guy-sjbrian

just joined a few minutes ago. have been looking for a good carving site and finally found this one. looks pretty good. i'm fairly new to wood carving and only done a few pieces.

i like scrollsawing and lathe work also. i find that carving is my favorite so far, monstly because i can do it anywhere.

i hope to join a club someday. its tough sometimes learning this on my own.

i like carving on logs so far. this was my first one.

sjbrian, welcome aboard,

if you don't yet, you will probably like to carve canes, sticks and staffs, lot of the stick carvers use vines and bugs, your work on the log is a really good start and shows some skills already

get a custom to the boards rules read the announcements and learn how it all works and enjoy, thanks for sharing....
