Default New guy in the chip pile.

Hi Everyone

I have been lurking in the "chip pile" enjoying all the carving information that has been posted and feel it was time to say hi and thanks.

I have been carving for about five years. Attending seminars and classes whenever possible.

I like to carve Santa figures, stylized marine life (seals, dolphins and whales) and of course the old time classic "ball and cage" and lots of chains.

Again thanks for all of your postings.

Best regards

Joe Jones AKA jjtexas

PS you don't have to be full of hot air to fit in here in Texas, but it does help.

Welcome Joe, right now we are getting (in the Ozarks) a lot of rain from that wind that blew up out of Texas.

Texas is a place where people tell tall tales ....... with a straight face. No hot air involved

Welcome!

Hello and welcome, Joe.

It's about time you got out of the "wood pile" and into the wood. Love to see some of your work.

Hi Joe: Welcome to the forum. Lots of good stuff hiddens in all sorts of places here.
I'm a native of the Lone Star State now residing in KS. When I was back home on the South Plains, the hot air was usually filled with dust. So much for the cotton fields.
