Good Morning. My name is Dave (flyer67) and after about 50 years have again found an old love. I started carving as a Boy Scout and don't know why it has taken so long to get back. I am a soon to retire trust banker from Avon Connecticut who anticipates getting totallly imersed carving. I have a thousand questions, all of which are old stuff to most of you, but I have learned through the years that you always go to the best to get better. Thanks for the opportunity to join, Dave |

Hello and welcome, Dave. It's nice to have you here with us. Try looking through the past posts by doing a search of what type of carving interests you and go from there.

Hi Dave and Welcome. My first real attempt at a recognizable carving was a Boy Scout neckerchief slide done in 1952. A lots of chips have fallen since then. Be sure to explore all the little nooks and crannies of the forum. There is a wealth of information here to help one and all. Ed |
