| | New Guy Hello to all:
I did some carving around 10 years ago; carved two ducks and finished with a stain. I am now just getting back into carving again. I consider myself a NEWBE. I am presently trying to carve ducks again and could probably use all of the help I can get. I live in Northwesten NJ (Warren County) and would be interested in joining a club but I can't locate any. I have lost all of the names of the supply houses I had used in the past. My equipment includes a Fordom, Optima 1 & Optima 2 along with a Dremel. I have 2 knives & some gouges I have no idea how to use. I would like to learn how to do the staining again but do not know where to go for advice.
Have ambition, willing to learn. PLEASE ADVISE

| | Re: New Guy It's one level higher in the forum. Look at the left side of the frame. About half way down, under Carving Community is Message Board. Click that. What shows up is a list of all the different boards. You can then select the one you think is most appropriate for question at the time.
