Default New guy

Just joined this forum after lurking for about six months. I started carving last summer after taking a carving class and I have picked up a lot of valuable info on this forum.
There are no known carvers in my area so it is difficult to share information with others. If there are any carvers or carving clubs in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina or the Lumberton & Lauringburg areas of NC, please contact me.

Hello Woodshaper,

There's been a quite a few new carvers joining the board these last two months. Glad to have another new person on board.

There was also the following recommendation :

If you cannot find a club in your local listed here, please contact the National Wood Carvers Association (NWCA) from their web page at http://www.chipchats.org/ to see if they can assist you.

Good luck!
