| | New guy Just joined this forum after lurking for about six months. I started carving last summer after taking a carving class and I have picked up a lot of valuable info on this forum.
There are no known carvers in my area so it is difficult to share information with others. If there are any carvers or carving clubs in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina or the Lumberton & Lauringburg areas of NC, please contact me. ws29547@yahoo.com

| | Re: New guy Greetings and Salutations Woodshaper! You most likely have already done your own search but in the event that you haven't here is a list of the SC clubs that I found on one website. Katharine Campbell South Carolina Crafts Assoc. P.O. Box 2045 Columbia, SC 29202 (803) 779-8203 Carolina Wood Carvers 102 Vista Way W Columbia, SC 29170 Ralph Kittelmann (803) 790-5293 EMAIL Piedmont Wood Carvers Club, Inc. Piedmont, SC HOMEPAGE Ernestine Howard, Registrations 601 E. Curtis St. Simpsonville, SC 29681 EMAIL Richard Teter 120 Barbara Dr. Piedmont, SC 29673-8977 (864) 845-7235 EMAIL The URL that they were found on is www.angelfire.com/va2/nvacarvers/guilds.html There was also the following recommendation : If you cannot find a club in your local listed here, please contact the National Wood Carvers Association (NWCA) from their web page at http://www.chipchats.org/ to see if they can assist you. Good luck!
