Hi Everyone, Ive been a long time fantasy artist, (mermaids, dragon women, unicorns, etc...)But I am new around here, new to woodcarving also, but very interested in a variety of carving styles, such as bird carving (songbirds, birds of prey, and exotic birds), stick carving, such as staffs and canes, etc...and also something that has caught my fancy, pipecarving, sounds interesting and exciting to me. I recently bought a multipro dremel with flxshaft and am extremely intrested in powercarving now. So anyways, happy to be here, looking to make some friends in the carving world. Pearl |

Welcome Pearl, good luck with you new venture of carving, sounds like you should have no problem when it comes time to painting your completed piece, an area that many of us are learning how to do it correctly, maybe you can share some advice in that area for us. Again. Goodluck
