I don't have a website with my carvings on it and I am trying to learn how to post pictures here. I got the avatar figured out, now I have to figure out the rest. I also have a question about private messages. I know they can be sent and I looked under FAQ, it said to click on the PM reply icon. I can't seem to find that either.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Christine

SusieQ,
I just looked at your web site. Your Santas are wonderful. It is really nice to see them with such happy faces. So many of the people that I carve with carve beautiful santas but they never look very happy. I seem to have the same problem. I'm assuming it is in the eyes where I fall off, but I can't seem to get it right. Any suggestions you might have to help me with this would be appreciated.

Christeen,

to (PM) private message anybody,
click on their name by their avitar in their post,
a menu will slide down the second choice is pm

as i copied that line from your message.
if you know the members board name and cant find a message then go to the top green border and find members list.
click it and choose the page that contains your members name and click it

also in the green bar above there is quick links, click it and select private messages.
this will bring you to your private messages and you can make a new one from there, or just go to the top of the screen under the changing advertisement and look to the right a little under the ad.. you will see a

Welcome, christeen .

private message block with your name on it.

Also When you build a buddie list by adding people to your buddy list, its simpler to open buddy list and click the persons name and pm user at the bottom...

There is other ways to reach the private messages but ive confused you by now certinly

Christine........been a carver-collector for 20 years now,its a well diverstified subject, many types of wood.........Decoys for example...........Have bought -n-sold -carved over 1000......some made of cedar-pine-oak-maple-fir-purple heart-apple-popular,some with feathers on,some used for duck hunting-some for mantle...........prices range from $50-to-$100,000 around here. Experminting with different woods-subjects-striving for a blue Ribbon -have found ,will take you to next level.......The Ward Foundation gives a prize of $100,000 for top carving once a year, along with many other prizes .My brother goes their,he got a blue ribbon for Honourable mention. He came in number 7 out of aprox 300 carvers worldwide ....he sells his Decoy for $9,000.........Pat Godin-Ontario......sells his Decoy for $65,000 last i heard,he has been picked World Champion for 7 Years............Like your work........Have a good Day.
