Default new to forum, as well as woodcarving

Hey! Name's Zack. I am a 17 year old highschool graduate. I just recently got into woodworking and i love it! i got into it because i started working graveyards stocking shelves at kmart and needed something to do while everyone else was sleeping and i was still awake. And i i dont like to go time without doing anything productiv. I play 11 different instruments including guitr mandolin, upright bass, ukulele, trombone, harmonica, sitar and a few others. I eventually want to become a luthier. So why not start playing with wood now. Ive been on the forum ALOT so finally decided id get more help and actually meet you all who have taught me so much already!

Mornin Zack,

My mother was a pro-musican...I guess that's where I got my art leaning...but, like alot of folks...I had to retire before getting into art in earnest....and it gives me a great satisfaction. I followed a military career and flew! It is hard for me to think back 40 yrs now and put myself in your shoes. Good luck to you!
