Are there any upcoming carving contests in Pennsylvania that a beginner can get into or just go to see some work of more experienced carvers ????

Hello, all.
I'm a new "carver" and thought I would say hello.
I've been looking at some of the various web sites and am really impressed by the work being done.
There are so many things Iwould like to try and so much to learn.
I'm from Pittsburgh, so another new carver from PA.
Tim
