I'm sorry that I'm not closer (Greg's a little further south, I'm somewhat further west...), but I hope that you'll find carvers in Barrie, ON or close out your way.

I'm 40 miles south of Hamilton, afraid I'd be no help, but, Look up Colin Partridge on here, I think he's fairly close to you and an excellent carver. There's a big carver supply stor in Kitchener called Chipping Away, they have a big website so they'll be full of info on what's going on in the Barrie area. Good luck in your search.
