 Need info about C.O. Trygg Hi there, I'm not a wood carver but I do need help. I was given a wooden statue carved by Mr. Trygg while he was living in Canada in 1953. It is a golfer and in excellent condition. It is also numbered or appears to be. It has 23c on ithe bottom next to the signature area. This was a donation for a charity event I'm working on and have no idea of the value. The encyclopedia gives a range of $35-500. Does anyone have any other helpful information about pricing this piece?  |

| Re: Need info about C.O. Trygg I haven't seen anything 500.00 yet, but see a lot from around 50 to 125.00 depends on how popular the subject is I guess. take a look on ebay, there are some there now and then.

| Re: Need info about C.O. Trygg Carolyn ..On e-bay .. most of Trygg's pieces go for around $50.00 To $100.00.... Of course the condition of the piece is a factor and you said it was in excellent condition .. The trygg family carved thousand of figures over the years .. C.O. The father and Lars Trygg .. the son .... Hi Ho is right about Rick .. he might know the value with his knowledge of flat plane carvers .. Also if you cant find a answer .. E- mail Harley Refsal and ask him ... to contact him .. google Iowa Roots and go to the webiste and look up Harley on the artist and he has a contact e- mail listed .. Good luck Gene
