Welcome aboard Granny! Daughters can be a pain but they're generally worth it. I keep telling myself that since I've got 3 myself!

Seriously though, Lindy is fortunate to have a mother with whom she shares an interest. It's a great hobby to share!

Hi Mom!! Welcome! How neat that you and Lindy both share the same interest! My daughter's only interest in my carving is begging for each new piece.....uses the old....if you love me, you'd give it to me! Ha! Ha! Hmmmm, now that I think about it.....that's about the same thing I hear from my Mom....only she adds....you'll get it back when I'm gone!

And I thought I was the master at using quilt!

Welcome Mom and Lindy,
We're glad to have both of you here. I used the handle "carvin Granny" for a number of years--when my grandkids were younger they thought it was cool. Now they are all taller than me, but they still like my carvings. Like Callynne, even when my carvings are very good, they all still want them.

Come back often--we're irrevant at times, but have a good time, and you can always find good help here.

Hi Carven Grannie, welcome, its a great spot for carvers. Callynne, I hear you, I have a son and daughter that I love very much, and I hear that, if you love me line. LOL.
