| | Miniature library I collected a series of miniature copies of the classics (shakespear, Dante, etc.) and needed someplace to keep them so built a library, both sides are about 18 inches square, hinged, and close up like a suitcase for storage. I begged borrowed and stole some tiny bits and pieces to dress it up then decided that it needed furnishings and someone to read the books. Proportions are a bit out, but the whole thing is just a conversation piece...
Of course I needed a ship in a bottle for the library table lol |

| | Re: Miniature library Now that's one creative way to both preserve and to display the miniature books AND reminds me that I probably spend way too much time behind the 'puter and should be reading the classic more!
Thank's for posting! I love the "small" stuff. |

| | Re: Miniature library Wow! Amazing! I just made an appointment to have my eyes examined. No way could I ever do something that small.

| | Re: Miniature library Bill, just spent most of the night last night going thru tholder posts and came upon your miniature library, FANTASTIC, as are all of your other carvings, I really liked the job on flat plane with the help of Genes tutorial. I haven't seen any recent posts by you, I hope everything is well with you. Thanks for showing your work, I'm a fairly new carver and enjoy seeing the carvings of others.
