Wow! Mickey, I've been chip carving for about 6 years and have seen your work online before. It is absolutely incredible. Welcome to the group. I've been dabbling in relief carving for about a year and just completed my first course and carving in the round but I still go back to chip carving for some projects.

Welcome aboard Mickey!
Good to have another chipcarver to learn from. Your boxes and turnings are great by themselves. The chip carving makes them outstanding!

Mickey, Just got around to viewing your web site. There's some absolutely beautiful small cabinetry and chip carving there. Thanks for sharing. Welcome aboard! Tom H

Hello Tom,
Many thanks for you kind comments. I enjoy making the pieces and doing the chip carving. Keeps me out of trouble. However the larger pieces are real design problems if you intend to carve them. The design has to be made so that the piece can be taken apart to carve and finish, then re-assemble. Sort of a pain but the large size makes it necessary for me to be able to hold it to carve.
