| | I met Dusty Buffalo I just met another person on this message board face to face yesterday.
Dusty Buffalo, it was sure nice to meet you and I hope you got a lot out of being here after the long drive up to my place for the Woodcarvers Gathering.
We had a nice turn out of 3 beginners, and two experiences carvers and myself. Everyone shared their knowledge, tips, tools, wood, experiences and stories. I had a wonderful time, and I hope Dusty Buffalo did too.
Woodcarving groups are the nicest folks and being able to see them in person is a lot of fun. I recommend it to all who don't ever get out to see other carvers to try and do it just for yourself.

| | Re: I met Dusty Buffalo I had a fantastic time and if the schedule permits I plan to visit again next month. I learned a tremendous amount of stuff and hopefully didn't forget any of it.
The mice are coming along nicely and hopefully they'll be done by next month.
Maybe I'll even get started on that '57 Chevy I want to do a relief of.
Thanks again, and the drive isn't too far, especially when I get to visit the mountains.

| | Re: I met Dusty Buffalo I'll have to try to remember that. That's sounds like a nice road trip. Especially to a show. I love to see all the different things folks have created.
