If you're interested in the new guy on the block check out my web site for the type of carvings I do . I've always got something new in the works ( I do this full time) and once I figure out all the details of how to post pic's Ill try to get some in to get some feedback. | | Re: I'm a new member, Nope, Mark, you were NOT born in the wrong century. This century needs folks with your skills to keep the classical carving art alive. It's obvious to me that you are at or near the pinnacle of your art.
I can be sure of one thing, I will not be offering you advice on anything carving related......we may discuss concepts, but only so I may gain some insight into the better aspects of carving.
Your site shows an amazing breadth of carving genres, and each done in a beautiful manner.
I'll look forward to your input and advice.

| | Re: I'm a new member, Welcome Mark,
I really enjoyed looking quickly through your web site images. My favorite after the quick look is the canope of trees over what might be a refrigerator. Wonderful work. I think you deserve a "life time achievement award" along with your other accomplishments. That bio is very impressive!
Glad to have you join our message board.

| | Re: I'm a new member, Awesome work, Mark!
I envy anyone who does religious and achitectural work at that caliber. When I saw your carving of Christ, the first thing I thought of was the shroud and I hadn't even read that part yet.......
Sincerely in awe,
