Default Lynn Doughty

I own 41 pieces of Lynn's work . They are my favorite of all the things I collect . Each piece is a treasure . It is like they take on lives of there own . Slim is the favorite of all my pieces , seems like He could just walk away . I live in Ca . I first found Lynn in Oklahoma Today , Ok's travel magazine . What a find . Take Lynn up on his offer to visit his place . His Gallery and workshop are exellent . Lynn your new piece with the Moose and the canoe wreck is a great piece . The best of luck to you with your work you deserve all the best that comes from it. All the best Chuck

Hello Chuck,

Wow! You say you own 41 carvings of Lynn's. I am jealous. Is there anyway you could possibly post some pictures of the carvings? At least, maybe the first one you bought and maybe the last one? It would be interesting to see any differences. It just seems that he gets better and better with each piece. I hope to someday visit his gallery and workshop and really hope to own one of his carvings someday. Also, I'll bet your investment in his carvings are going to turn out to be one heck of a great return someday in the future if some future generation of yours decides to sell. Thanks for posting and please try and post some pictures.

Hi Lynn and Chipper 67
I never sell anything . I would like someday my pieces would end up in the permanent collection of Hall Of Fame . I have collected art for 39 years and never profited from it . I have studied about Thamas Gilcrease since I was around 10 years old . I will try to post some pictures of Lynn's work , I go to Ok. in 3 days for 44 days . It will be after that . The thing about Lynn's work is the artistic value always remains the same . So the enjoyment is constant . I would give my pieces to the Thomas Gilcrease Museum also . All The Best , Chuck
