Well here goes, long overdue, my name is Kelly I am from Louisville Ky. I am 45 years old, lived here most of my life. I left for the USAF in 1980 and moved back to Ky. in 1997. I have lived in Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia and Germany.

I have been interested in carving for many years but only recently really got serious about it (dabbled for a couple years prior) I have several projects going on right now, life size hawk, bullfrog, turtle, butterfly and a great blue herring, hope to finish some soon. I am lucky enough to be able to carve nearly everynight for a couple of hours. That danged honey do list, ( I tell my wife if I do everything on the list I won't have anything to do). ha ha.

The other things I enjoy are, hunting, fishing, golf, furniture building and of course my family and dog, can't forget the dog.

I've been lurking for awhile and realize what a great place to come and visit, great bunch of friendly people that are willing to help out and someone always has an answer. thanks too all. I don't have much to offer so I just sit back and read the forum.

Don't forget the dog! Welcome aboard Whiskers, and to the dog. What kind By the way? We're a pretty dog friendly bunch here, especially if you carve one and show us! Looking forward to seeing your work and welcome your perspective on carving.

Bob
