Smile Looking for specific STAGECOACH, HORSES LANDSCAPE

Help Please!! My husband asked me to look around the web and see if there was anything I could send him about carving. I found a picture (I think it was used in a headline but no info. was with it) of a carving, stagecoach with horses running. It was gorgeous!!

I sent it to him (he works away) and he said "where did you find that? I carved that in 1978!"

Now I can't find where I found it on the net, only have the picture itself saved. After that we'd like to know who owns it now, another other information.

There are other carvings out there done in the 70's. His name is David Urias.

Thank you for any help you can be
DEb

Hello Deb,
Several years ago--maybe 10 or so--there was a several page spread in the National Wood Carver's Association's Chip Chats about the subject of horses and stagecoaches/wagons/carts. Lots of photos. That might be a good place to start (http://www.chipchats.org) If you'll send me a Private Message (Up in the top right hand corner under Welcome...your name...with your personal email address, I'll try to look it up this weekend and send you more specific info.

Wink Re: Looking for specific STAGECOACH, HORSES LANDSCAPE

Thank you so much for your answer. I've been all through the ChipChats site and didn't find any stories listed about stagecoaches in the links they had available and I've just sent them an email to inquire personally.

Wow, I see I can post an image, too. I don't know if this will go up with the others, this is all new to me (plus I have brain injuries so get tangled sometimes without any help )

Thank you for your very kind help, I appreciate it!

Debra

Thank you so much for your post Mel, it was very kind of you to look for it. I seem to have figured out how to add a photo of the carving I'm looking for when I answered your Moderator Donna T. Very impressed with your organization - TY!
