Welcome to the board and you're also welcome to visit and/or join the Great Lake Wood Carvers Club. We meet the 4th Thursday of each month (except this month) at Rockler Woodworking, 7503 Brookpark Rd., Parma from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM. You'll find a good group of helpful, knowledgable folks here. Two items for you. Look on the left side of the screen; under "Carving Community" is a link to Calendar of Events. Click on this to see the list of carving contests, carving shows, and some classes. The other item is go buy a copy of Wood Carving Illustrated at your local bookstore; in the back is a long list of classes for the next 6 months or so.
