Thumbs up Kentucky Karver Knife

Just found the site a few days ago even though I have been receiving the mag. since it began. Looking forward to picking up and shareing some tips.
Have read a few of the inputs and this seems like the place , other then Heaven, where I want to be.
I have a few projects in the works and have been stumped by lack of wood or a design flaw. My wife tells me that I need pay less attention to detail andhjave a "rougher" look to the carvings. Maybe some one can tell me how to be less fanatical on the detail.
