Default Just a note to say hello!
Bouncing SJust want to say hello to everyone, I hope I can learn some new skills from all of you. I have been carving for about 4 years with out any classes. But I see that there are a lot of better teqnics to use. I have only used a case knife to carve. I got a set of woodcarving tools and am ready to have some fun. Your new companion Roger.

Hello and welcome, Roger. It's nice to have you here. There are lots of wonderful and very knowledgable carvers here.

Like you, I am self taught, but there is a lot to learn if you're willing to search the posts and join in the discussions.

I hope you'll show us some pictures of what your carving interests have accomplished. I get on the internet each morning just to read this forum and look at pictures of what everyone is carving.
