Default just the newbee

hi my name is karl hovinga
i have been carving with a dremal for about 7 years and have always wondered it there was a web like this i have made allot of carvings over the last year and was not sure how many i could post i do mostly wall art and love to do them of all kinds also i have made quit a few custom lamps of tropical fish and things like that do you think i should post pic,s of them even if i already sold them please let me know thank you karl

First off, welcome Karl. ing photos of your carvings is a good way for those on the Board to get to know you, at least where you are coming from, so to speak. Go for it! Tom H

as soon as i can get more pic's ready i will post them i am working on another wall art right now i am useing cypirs and the branch is from a fig tree cant wate to get it done becuse i have another idea in mine already karl

i was just at your web sight and i was wondering how do you find out about shows we are in va. helping our son and are planning on moving back to fl. in the spring are there any shows in fl thank you karl

i am not a 100%sure but i think woodcraft sells colored stain, i think i have seen it in the catalog. so dont hold me to it but you can check,

Welcome Karl!
This is a great place for carvers to talk, ask for advise, post their work, etc....
There is a power carving section too for folks like you and I. I carved with a Dremel for a while to see if I would like power. It's a good tool. We can't wait to see some of your work posted.
