Default Just beginning....

G'afternoon!

My name is Kate and I decided yesterday to purchase some supplies and try my hand at chip carving. This involved some mess in the living room figuring out this chip thing (it was cold outside!) and having fun. I picked up a book and browsed through it grasping the general concept and figured I'd just dive right in.

Well, after last night I went into the back shop and started my first chip carving. I'm going to try to attach some photos with my progress so far. I'm fairly pleased with my massive inexperience of how it's turning out, and definitely eager to bite into some more difficult designs.
