Default John from NC

I've been a fan of Wood Carving Illustrated for a number of years, and a carver since my days as a Boy Scout, 60 plus years ago -- great hobby. And have had an article in WC Illustrated a few years back. I'm the guy who does the "Stackable Santa". And being a fan of UNC, Univ. of Wis., Uncle Sam, etc., have a variety of hats for Santa to wear-- as well as skates, a kilt, and---. At the moment I'm resting up for my next "cycle" of activity. I'm trying to conjure up another project or two. Now that I'm becoming more computer literate, I'm looking forward to my contacts with the world wide web.

Well John, I for one am happy you joined our little (big) group, lotta skill and great people on here. Heck, I've only been carving for a few months and already have managed to cut my fingers a few times. Look forward to seeing some of your work.
