Default Jim Burnett (easy bleeder)

Hi, Started carving a long time ago but about 3 years ago discovered hiking sticks and walking sticks. Some of the work I've seen looks like it belongs in a museum! I make pretty good chips and sawdust but I'm learning. Keep your tools sharp.Red Face </IMG>

Welcome Jim. Great group of folks here and lot's of talented people. I am an asipring stickmaker too. Just getting going with carving (though I've been reading about it for years) and with making sticks. If you are relly into stick there is also a Yahoo Group devoted to Stickmaking. You may want to check it out too. Just go to the Yahoo Groups page and look up Stickmaking. That should get you to it. If not - let me know and I'll post a link.

Cheers!
Chuck
