LOL....that's the first time I've ever been mistaken for a poet!!! The only poetry I know are a few bawdy songs and limricks from my seagoing days! But...we wouldn't go there....there's ladies present!!

bob- i read your post and i was reminded that often in our rush to get ahead and aquire all the material goods we can we lose sight of the simple pleasures of just sitting back and looking around at nature.and truly seeing the magnificence that the Creator has made for us.
i usually start my day by looking out over the meadow behind the house,and watch the Geese landing in the pond,a pair of hawks sitting at the edge waiting for breakfast.and when i'm lucky i will catch a glimpse of a fox trying to sneak up on the geese.
your post could have been sub-titled -"sit back and smell the roses.
