Default Identify

Greetings,
I'm Tom. I have a beautiful carving of a Song Sparrow. It came from Carmel, CA in 1980. I cannot read the signature and would like to know more about it. Anyone interested in looking at photos?
Thanks,
Tom

Might it be Ernst Muehlmatt (sp) the last name is probably spelled wrong but someone else might know how to spell it.

I just checked the spelling and I find he is known for writing books on carving birds. So I am guessing you have one of his carvings, sounds like it is a good carving to have. It is Ernst Muehlmatt

Welcome aboard.
That's a nice carving. The only thing I'd change is to have my name on it. LOL
Beautiful isn't it?

What a beautiful piece.
There are many people on this board who would love to see more pictures of a piece like this.
Thanks for posting the picture.
