| | Howdy from Vancouver BC JUst wanted to say Hi. My name is Greg. I am from the Vancouver BC Canada area. 2 xmas' ago my wife bought me a set of gouges and I started playing with them. This year I have gained a lot more interest and bought a couple chip knives. Had to figure out the hard way to sharpen it first. lol
I am also looking for others who might be in this area. Looking forward to learnig from you all.

it will be a while before I manage to get anything besides sawdust and kindling to photograph. I mean that litter-ally. (pun intended)
I am interested in chip carving and Celtic, nordic, Greek, E. Indian and Mayan designs.

What part of Vancouver are you from I lived out that way for three years on beautiful Vancouver Island and return every year for the Shoreline Arts competition in Campbell River in June.
