Default Howdy from NE Texas

Hi, I am Choo, short for Choo Choo charlie. I have just gotten back into carving/whittling. I mabe neckerchief slides in Boy Scouts (faces and animals) and I also carved wooden propellers out of spruce for the many flying rubber powered model planes I built up into my mid 20's. I am now trying my hand at carving wood spirits into walking sticks. I have made 2 cedar wood spirits so far, one on a cane I made and one on a particularly beautiful piece of cedar I cut on our property.
I have watched a couple of tutorials so far, the best from 3 crosses woodcarving.
Thanks

Hello Choo! Welcome!
I haven't tried carving wood spirits or walking sticks yet, but there are many on the forums that do. Everyone on here is willing to help if they can. So if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
