Like Dave says, we are so lucky to develop good carving friends here, but you never know when some spammer will find our site and play games.

Donna --Thank you for your hound dog patterns-- I have begun carving out/ freeing the ungrateful creature from it's wooden prison .and to show its unappreciative nature it looks like it belongs in a stock yard ... rather than a dog.... but i shall continue to torture the basswood till it releases the dawg part... thank you again

Hi Wuzfuz,
I'm glad the pattern was just what you wanted and I'm glad I could help. When I started carving, two or three fellas were good to help me with patterns and carving advice so I try to do the same for others. I think carvers are the most sharing of all artists. Now, be sure to show us your junk yard dog...my first animal hardly resembled the real thing but I still have it. Have faith...they will get better with each carving.
