Default Hi from the UK

Have been sitting on the side lines for some time now. I am new to woodcarving but not to woodworking. I would like to be able to use woodcarving to embellish some of the things that I make.
I have now just received some carving chisels in the form of the Flexcut SK108 set, also got some books for Christmas. So I am sure that I will have plenty of questions. The nearest thing to carving that I have done is a rocking horse, see the bottom link in my signature.
Not bad 1st post and already had to edit it twice. Forgot to put a name, it is Derek

OMG Derek,
You are going to fit in just fine here. I won't think of you as having a problem with carving, when making builds like that! You should have no problem! Welcome to the WCI family!
Sincerely, Rob Vega (Lazy C.)
