Hi Folks , First time ever on anything like this . I've been looking around and this site seems to have some really skilled people and great advice for newcomers to this craft . I'm fairly new at carving, having done just a few woodspirits and such , and I've made a couple of canes . All of which have been given away. Looking forward to any advice , or tutorials that may help a beginner . Thanks

Thanks for the welcome , Cannuckcarver, Soggy, Slather. Great to get a response so fast. Slather , we're way down here in Sarnia, along the St. Clair River and Lake Huron area. I'm going to have to get looking around in this site some more and have a look at some of those videos you mentioned Cannuckcarver . Not sure exactly where to look , but , I'm sure if I keep looking around through here I'll find everything eventually . Thanks again folks .
