Welcome to the forum! I think it would be so cool to collect driftwood above the tree line. Have found some amazing pieces myself, but none with international intrigue. Nice to have you join us.

Looking forward to seeing the kinds of woods and carvings you've created. Geez, I get "found"wood from creeks and burnpiles--you get them from oceans and countries! What a great experience.

I'll try to download a few pics of some "arctic slope driftwood" spirits I've worked on.

Donna T==nearly everyone who works at Prudhoe Bay has a rotating scheduale working 2 or 3 weeks on then 2 or 3 weeks off.It's a pretty good gig.And the money is pretty good too.
