Marilik, it's kinda hard to distinguish what your carving is, from that photo, although I've sort of placed it in the walking stick category, if there is more to the piece to the lower left. I've used a similar "burning technique" on a walking stick I did in 1980, and I'm still using it today. That fire treatment hardens the wood up and provides an extremely tough walking stick. I don't know if they still do it, but tool makers used to fire harden hickory handles for hammers, axes, shovels and hoes. They held up really well.
