Question Hi everyone! I'm Jim from Bradford,PA

Good day to all!
I'm new to your community and hope it isn't inappropriate to ask if anyone might have some information about a carver that I met as a boy.
His name is Leo Klein of Wilcox,PA. My father was friends with him and bought many of his elaborate and beautiful Turkeys,Wood Cocks and Ducks.
My father and uncle both tried their hands at carving after becoming friends with Leo and Frank Alden.
I appreciate any information anyone might have about Leo. His work is unbelievably realistic. The carving is very good, but the painting and finish work is just amazing!

Hello Jim,
Welcome to the forum. Bradford, eh? Home of the Case knife company. My husband used to collect old pocket knives and had quite a few old case knives in his collection.

Regarding your hunt for a carver your father knew, have you googled him or tried an online white pages website? If you know the area where he lived you might find a listing for him if he is still alive. If he has a website for his carving google will find it. I use the online white pages as a search tool all the time at work. You could get lucky.

Anyhow, welcome to the forum. Hope to hear more from you and your carving.
