Hi everyone, Finally...

I started reading this board over 2 years ago and I am just getting around to saying hello, I apologize for my tardiness . Anyway, my interest in woodcarving began after my father passed away. He enjoyed carving decoys and birds and had started a cardinal when he got very sick and passed away. That half finished project sat in my shop for years before I got the courage to finish it, I really didn't want to mess it up. Well I did finish it and gave it to my mom as a gift from her husband and son. She was thrilled and I have been buying tools ever since. I really do enjoy this forum, and the people here are the friendliest anywhere.
