new to this board and was going to give a little info on myself.been carving about 4 years all types of carving caricatures
hhmm check that spelling,cypress knees and some relief,also have started doing some large stuff roughed out with a chain saw.im from mississippi where i fronted a southern rock and blues band for 10 years and have just started my foray (check that spelling) into bar-b-q competition cooking.glad to be here happy carving all

Hey, if you are into BBQ competition check out the annual Barbeque on the River in Paducah, Ky. We had 45 entries this year and it gets bigger every year. !5,000 in attendance.

my daughters hung that name on me years ago they love 50s and 60s movies,plus it sounds kind of cool for a b-b-q joint huh,thanks for the welcome already found a ton of great info,would love to hit that in ky.our first cookoff is on oct 20th and 21stwe're keeping our fingers crossed hopefully i can make a few chips while i'm there.....course i could always use em in the ol smoker too!!
