Default Hi from Down Under

Thought I had better say hallo. Have only recently registered and am new to the carving past time. Found this website while I was looking up Kolrosing after reading the recent article. Will be attempting to make the tool soon and expand my skills. Relief and Chip carving also appeal to me. Hope to get some interesting ideas and share some views with you all.

Many thanks for the welcome. I will certainly watch the site with interest. As soon as I have something to show I will make a post.

I take seriously the advice about practice from your website Kathy. I read somewhere once that if you want to be a good carver make a pile of chips!

Nich, thank you, for visiting my web site and yes as they say "Practice Makes Perfect". I've had more than one carver tell me to carve several of the same carving. Probably the closest that comes to that advice are my Kachina Dolls. I do think it's really good advice.
