| | Re: Hi from Down Under Hi there Nich, welcome to the group. There's another fella from down your way, check him out, he's Blinky Bill, who knows maybe you'll be close enough to hook up with him, he's just started a wood carving group. I realize it's a big country, but hey, you never know.

| | Re: Hi from Down Under Hi Nich; When we were in Oz, we started in Melbourne, up to Sydney, then Brisbane, Surfers Paradise and over to Perth, then back to Sydney. Loved the whole time we were there. My husband was working for the telephone company installing cellular systems there. You have a wonderful country and marvelously friendly people.

| | Re: Hi from Down Under Yes it is a big country. I live in Innisfail in Far North Queensland, not far from Cairns. Grew up in Sydney, but was always drawn to the country. Lots of interesting timber here.
God bless you all and happy carving! |

We call them crocodiles!

Started travelling around it 26 years ago and got as far as Cairns. Have been here ever since.
Maybe I will get to North America before I see the rest of my own country | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
