Hello & Welcome your English looks fine. What kind of woodcarving are you interested in doing? If you have been carving then please tell us about it or show us some images of your work. Everyone is very nice here and eager to help a new carver. What kinds of woods are available to you for carving?
Kathy

Welcome aboard!!!

A quick question: your screen name...is that at all a reference to Frank Herbert's book Dune?

Anyway, if there is anything we can do to help, please let us know!

Hi again!! Yes im a great fan of Frank Herbert... for those who were asking...actually im a beginner and at this moment im not working because i dont have the worktable, neither the tools (except for some gouges) neither the wood.. you see in my country its a bit difficult to find the things...
2 years a go i started going to a woodwork place were i could do some things.. there is a picture of my first work and the other is my second that i´d never finished...
from that time to know i couldn´t do anything else because i was too busy studing medecine and working... but now i want to get back in my house as a hobby because i want something to relax me...
well i have to go now... ill continue in the next post!!
greettings to all! and thanks for answering!!
