I just wanted to say hi, I have sculpted for about 10 years, but just recently started to work in wood, so far I am likeing it. Wood is much easier to move then rock. Well I hope to get to know some of you here and learn more about wood craving. Brett. |

Welcome to the forum. You know you can combine rock and wood carving. There is a brave carver on this site that is trying to carve an indian head out of Osage Orange. That wood will give rocks a run for their money! Have fun, Dan |

Hi Brett. welcome. hummm, rock. that is a lot of work. I am just starting to carve wood. and it is hard stuff. can't even think of doing carving in rock. I would love to see some pictures of your work. Evie
