Hi knotthead! I've never called anyone that before.
I looked at your work in the carvers gallery. Wonderful faces! You sure are good at keeping those hair lines straight. My favorite was the one that appeared to be asleep. Great use of the pine knots and placement in them.
Welcome to the board.
Thor

Knotthead,
Welcome!
All you other Folks, "Knotthead" might be a family name that he's very proud of, named after grand-dad or somebody! I hope you haven't hurt his feelings. A little sensitivity here, please!
Wade

I just like saying the word "knotthead". It's kind of like calling someone "Catfish" or "Cornbread", two names that I know here in Dahlonega. It just rolls off the tongue well. No offense meant in any way.
Thor, whose name conjures up images that are totally imaginary.

Hi, I am a knothead carver also! I've carved 656 of them over the years! I like gathering them as much as carving them...fun to go out in the woods and see what Mother Nature has done to help us along in our imaginations way.
Welcome to this group!
Sharon
