I combined the two threads to keep all your "Welcomes" in one place. |

| | Re: Hi all Thanks for all the kind comments. Ron, I'm about 2 1/2 hours from Wichita and may have to look you up the next time I'm headed down there. On the spirals I carved 2 of them by hand, about 8 to 9 hours apiece then the guys talked me into trying the dremel. What a difference that made. Less than 2 hours in each one. I still like carving by hand better but may do more with the dremel in the future.
Thanks all

| | Re: Hi all As far as new members go I might as well throw my hat in the ring as well. I am a full time carver, started out doing decoys as a hobby, lost my "real" job and went into carving full time. Been at it 15 yrs now.Not quite sure how this messaging stuff goes or how and if you can see my site but the address is www.woodworkingstudio.net check it out , It's a mix of work but fun and challenging.I've got a lot of work in the shop,,, many starting in clay as prototypes , a bunch of sketches, some casts, but again alot of fun. Let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
