I have been carving for about 20 years now and I am still learning too! I think thats the love of woodcarving. Seems like there there is always something new to try and carve let alone learming to sharpen, collecting reference material, learning all the different woods, and best of all learning from each other. Welcome to the wonderful world of woodcarving!

Thanks for the welcome! I learn more every time I come to the boards the ammount of information is great. But I am sure I will have more direct questions before long. I will try to post a pic of one of my carvings , they are pretty primitive still but each one is a bit more advanced than the last.

Well if I did it right , I posted a print of my 4th carving. First work in cedar, but I think I have a new car air freshener!
