No phones ringing, no doorbangers coming around, no kids/cats/wives getting on your case about whatever. The only downside is if you fire up a power tool, everybody screams at you. I dunno why...  |

Yep I can see what you mean about Canadian invasion ..heehee....what can we say... we love the trees and all their expressions.......here in Canada ...eh!!??  and WC...fortunately I don't use power tools ...If I did ..I suspect my late night early morn sessions would come to an end he  he.....I am a knife in one hand and chunk of wood in the other type of carver ......I just carve away ..and usually dont know what I am carving 'til the wood tells me whats there ...then I go with it!....I am in the process of taking some pictures of my newer pieces..and will post some pics...when this is done... I am so sooo glad to find a carvers forum on line....some time back I searched and searched and didn't have any luck ...except for a couple of very inactive msn groups...last night I was doing a search for something else and up this forum popped.....and I was soo pleased. and now I am going to take a little time to look around and check things out.
